THE LONGCHEN NYINGTIK PEDURMA

A pedurma in Tibetan (དཔེ་བསྡུར་མ། bde bsdur ma) is a scholarly, meticulously researched comparison of multiple source texts in order to achieve the highest standard of accuracy and authenticity of the text.

To preserve the legacy of Kunkhyen Longchen Rabjam and Rigdzin Jigme Lingpa, and the integrity of the precious Longchen Nyingtik cycle, the Longchen Nyingtik Text Preservation Project compared eight source texts of the Longchen Nyingtik, with rigorous examination and proofreading, with the intent of producing error and corruption-free versions that can be shared digitally with Tibetan Buddhists worldwide.

Vision

It is Dza Kilung Rinpoche’s long-time vision to collect the precious Longchen Nyingtik texts, preserve and organize them in one place online, and make searchable digital copies easily accessible to all.
The inspiration of this project is not just to make these texts available worldwide, but to benefit Tibetans directly through preserving the Longchen Nyingtik lineage.
