The Longchen Nyingtik Text Preservation Project held a conference at Yakchun Temple, on Jeju Island, South Korea, from September 15 – 26, 2024 that focused on a pedurma of Longchen Rabjam’s Ngalso Kor Sum (ངལ་གསོ་སྐོར་གསུམ་) Trilogy of Finding Comfort and Ease.
Joining Dza Kilung Rinpoche in this rigorous proofreading of the ancient Adzom woodblock version of the texts were Khenpo Chonyid Dontok from Drekar Gonpa in Dzachuka, Khenpo Samtem and Lopon Dorje Wangchuk and their support team from Pangan Gompa in India, and also Khenpo Wangchuk Tsering and his team in Tibet.
The conference opened with prayers, introductions, and acknowledgments of the sponsors and supporters who have made this project possible.
The South Korean sangha beautifully organized all tech support, accommodations and meals throughout the 12 days of the conference.
